📬 Your Dispute Letters Were Sent — Now What?

Updated: Jun 21

ree

Now that your dispute letters have been officially received by the credit bureaus, it's time to enter the investigation window — this is where the real magic starts to happen.

What to Expect Next

The credit bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian) have 30 to 45 days to investigate the items we disputed. During this time, they will review your claims, reach out to the data furnishers (like creditors or collection agencies), and determine whether the information should be updated, verified, or removed.

3 Possible Outcomes You Might Receive:

  1. Item Deleted: The bureau agreed with the dispute and removed the item from your credit report. This is a win — we’ll mark this as resolved and move on to the next item or round if needed.

  2. ⚠️ Item Updated: The item is still on your report but with slight changes (like a different balance or date). This can be progress, but it may also signal we need to push further in the next round.

  3. Item Verified: The bureau claims the information is correct and has not made any changes. This doesn't mean it's over — it just means we now escalate using additional dispute strategies or legal grounds.

What We Need From You:

Once you receive a response (by mail or through your SmartCredit account), please notify us immediately. You can:

  • Upload a photo or PDF of the letter using your client portal

  • Email it directly to support@rgfsolution.com

  • Let us know what the bureau said so we can guide you on next steps

REMINDER: This is a process — and every step brings us closer to your credit redemption. You’re not alone. We’ll be right here to interpret results, guide your next round, and celebrate the wins together.

Your Trusted Credit Consultant,

Alexandria
